A long time ago 'Shakers and Dreamers' sent out a new electronic sound that set the tone for coming generations across their continent. Undercutting current commercial music structures, they emancipated the electronic musicians of the second 'Invisible Earth', Neptune. 120 million years ago, their tracks spread from venue to venue across the great lakes of Neptune's Canadian region.

Following close in their footsteps 'Foot-Sole Foreigner' brought the music south and married it with the acoustic fore-runners of the electronic revolution. Electronic music has always played an essential role in the cultural cycle of the 'Invisible Earths'.

4.5 billion years of independent electronic music and culture now lie scattered in the outer Oort cloud, and the atoms of their creators now circle in the great storm clouds of the Gas Giants. But all unknown to us.

'The Seventh Earth Project' are now archiving this lost music and culture and making it available to the audiences of this Earth, The Seventh Earth.

BOOMKAT

Two conceptual techno trips from Alan Lambert's The Seventh Earth Project. We're not going to go into the hypothesis that bore this project, but we can say it's worth a read over on his site. The tracks inspired by the concept nod directly to Detroit techno, from the UR-inspired Shakers and Dreamers' 'This Land Is Your Land' to the Afro-Latin shake of Foot-Sole Foreigner's 'Of Bones And Dreams' for fans of DJ Bone or Rolando.

DOVEWAX

A superb tribal percussion groove tune soaring with jazzy drums/keyboard!
The 50th release from "D1" label of Ireland/Dublin, known for producing Larosa, is an EP by The Seventh Earth Project, a project of Eamonn Doyle, the chief of the label. Tribal mantra infused "Shakers And Dreamers" sounds outstanding with driving percussion, ethnic bells and chant! The music wonderfully buids up with lively rhythm of percussions and kicking groove, and keyboard and drums accelerate the drive...Tremendous soundscape also!!

UG Recommend! A new release from a quality Irish label D1 Recordings! Unmissable ethnic tribal!!
A new release from Dublin, Ireland based D1 Recordings, who has been producing only quality works quietly yet steadily, is a new project by the label chief Eamonn Doyle, which is centered around The Seventh Earth concept. You might imagine a typical ethnic-ish loop house sound from "ethnic tribal', but this is totally different! The side A track is a real tribal techno with a spiritual, spacy feeling backed by gamelan-like metalic sound and it's so cool. The side B is a Detroit-ish mellow tech track with talking box, and it checks the box too!
